Light in the Dark World of PCOS.

 
 
 
PCOS doesn't need to be a life sentence of an unhealthy life.  In my search to help my daughter who was told she had PCOS a few months ago.  The answer that no doctor could give us, was found.
 
Natural healing is a passion of mine.  So I shouldn't have been surprised I would find the answer there.  But I was.  It seems the only way to control all the issues that came along with PCOS is by diet.  So how is that doctor's had no clue on how to help her.  Anyway, There is a way to help her and millions of other lady's with it.
 
A little background
 
PCOS effects every woman differently.  But there are a few issues that everyone has.  So before you begin any kind of new diet.  You need to find out with type of PCOS effects you.  What type are you?
 
My daughter has it all.  But seeing t hat it has been about 8 since she began to have issues.  Of course hers will be more advanced.  PCOS is the family of autoimmune, disorder.  What is an autoimmune disorder?  Your body doesn't brake down the foods you put in it right.  Instead of processing it into energy.  It turns into a poison.  We all know what poison will do to the body.  Since the digestion is not braking it down right.  It causes the liver, pancreas and other organs to process it wrong too.  Witch in turn fills the body with inflammation.  Witch is like a wide spread infection.  That your body is always trying to fight off.  Now the organ are trying to brake down the food you put in your body the right way.  Plus trying to fight the infection.  Leading to being very  tired most of the time.  Basically it is a chain reaction in the body to what you are putting in it.  That causes the body to insulin resistant, fatty liver, clogged arteries, heart disease, slow brain function and so much more.
 
So it makes since to stop giving your body what it is not digesting right.  So there is no poison created in your body.  Instead give it what it can brake down correctly, to give you fuel.  Kinda like a car.  When you put in the recommend type of gas.  It runs smoothly.  If you were to put deiseal in a car that takes regular gas.  You will miss up your car.  Food is our fuel for the body.  Putting in the wrong kind will cause a lot of problems.
 
Thank Goodness for all the research that has been done on PCOS.  Because now we know what of foods turn to poison in our body's.  So all we need to do is follow the eating plain set out for your type of PCOS.
 
Gluten
Most woman with PCOS can not process gluten the right way.  To be honest gluten is not good for anyone.  It is basically glue that holds the food together.    Being gluten interferent will cause these problems in your body.  Because it doesn't brake it down  right.
 
diarrhea, gas, bloating, nausea, constipation, inability to loss weight, chronic sines infections, snoring, fibramyalgia. chronic fatigue, IBS, reflux, cancer, depression, skin disorders, osteoporosis, hypothyigidism, autoimmune disorder, infertility, tingling and numbness in legs, joint pain, sores in the mouth, and so much more.
 
Gluten is very addictive.  So your body craves more and more.  Causing more and more poison build up in your body.  Leading to wide spread inflammation.  Gluten that is eating by millions.  Has more side effects then most drugs do that have been pulled off the shelves.  So no wonder so many people are going gluten free these days.
 
Insulin resistance. 
Most woman with PCOS are insulin resistant.  This means their body's do not break sugars into fuel.  It simply stores it as fat along with the other poison.  The body thinks it needs more and more sugar.  Because the body is not processing it right.  Leading to more and more fat being stored on the body.  Making you crave more sugars, and starches, and carb.  Remove the sugar, starches and carbs from your diet to end this cycle.  Yes it will be hard at first.  You will be teaching your body to burn a different fuel type that it can break down better.  We get to that in a few mins.  The point is to remove what the body doesn't break down the right way.
 
Carbs
People with debates and insulin resistance need to limit the amount of carbs they eat in a day.  Because carbs and starches turn to sugar in the blood stream.  Since the body is not breaking down sugars right.  But our body's need carbs to function right.  Carbs help with brain function, and energy.  So a low carb eating plain is best.  This way you still get what you need for your body to function right.  Adding only good carbs to the body makes it break it down better.   Plus it forces the body to burn the stored fat as fuel.  In some cases once your body learns how to use the stored fat, and your body is not insulin resistant anymore.  You can add more carbs for added energy.  But there are some that will need to eat low carb the rest of their lives in order to keep your body in balance.
 
In my research I have found one diet or eating plain that resets the body so it will break down the foods in the right way.
 
 
I have found a bunch of Keto recipes.  The link above is to my Pinterest account where I have saved several.  I'm sure there will be more daily.  So feel free to follow this board or all my boards.
 
The Keto Diet is an all natural way to control PCOS.  It uses food to heal your body.  There are many naturally healing ways to eat to heal the body.  Of many different things.  Heart disease, acid reflux, fatty liver.  There is a healthy eating plain for everything that might effect the body.  Even cancer.  So do a little research for the problems you or a loved one is having.  Natural is always better.  Yes eating healthier cost a little more.  But think of it like this.  You can choose how to invest your money.  Invest it eating the right way for your body.  Or invest in some doctor's sport car, and huge house.  It really is that simple.
 
When I talked to my daughter about the Keto diet.  Her first reaction was.  "I can't give up my bread, and sweets."  So I told her.  "It is all about chooses.  Either you choose to do your best to change the way you are eating.  Or you choose to feel bad the rest of your life.  The choose is yours."  Big life changes are never easy.  But if you expect anything to change.  Big changes must be made.
 
She has agreed to give a try.  So something I will be doing to help it a smoother change.  This week, I'm having her write down everything she eat.  So we can see just how much sugar and carbs she is eating.  Then we will slowing bring down her sugar and carb intake a little at a time.  I'm doing it this way for many reasons.  One if she totally denied right off the bat.  She will not stick to it.  Two hopefully bring her carb intake down slowly will keep her from having the carb flu.  After all this needs to be lifestyle change for her for at least a year.  In order to reset her body.  So I want to make sure she sticks to it.  This is what I know will help her stick to it.  So as you do more research on PCOS develop the plain that will work best for you.
 
In most cases you will see a big difference within a couple of months of adopting this eating plain.  But were her system is so inflamed.  I know it will take her much longer to see the big benefits.
