The Best ways to Boost your Metabolism.
 
How you use food has a lot to do with how your fuel your body.  Most of have picked up vey habits over the years.  I believe some of came from where we grew up during the of the great Recession in the late 70's and early 80's.  Most of our parents were out of work.  And we didn't have a lot of different foods to chose from.  So as adults, when things got a little better.  We could afford to get what ever food we wanted.  Sadly a lot of our choses were not the healthiest one's for us.  This is a bad habit that can be changed.  In order to change it.  We need to look at food differently. 
 
Food is fuel for the body.  It is needed in order to keep us running threw the crazy lives.  It is kinda like this.  The cars we drive need fuel for them to run, and take us to all the places we need to go.  What would happen to your car if you filled the tank with water.  It is a liquid.  So it should run the car just as well.  If only,  because the gas prices are crazy.  But we all know that our cars will not run on water.  And if you try it, you will be in need of a new car very soon.  Our body's are the same way.  It doesn't take just any fuel.  It needs high quality foods for it to run at it's best.  When we use the wrong fuel, it will stop running just like the car.  But we can't go out and buy a new body.  Man, that would be great if we could.  "I'll take a 20 year old body to go please."
 
Since we have had years of giving our bodies the wrong food.  Is there a way to fix it now?  Yes, but it will take time and hard work. 
 
How to find the best fuel for your body.
Finding the right fuel isn't a hard thing to do.  Think back to your school days.  In health class they always talked about the Food Pyramid.  There was a good reason for that.  We need foods from all the food groups in order for our body's to burn the fuel the best.  
 
The food Pyramid gives us the information we need to fuel our body's the right way.  When we use the right fuel, it burns off.  Instead of storing as fat on our body's.  Makes me wish I had paid more attention in school. LOL.  Better late then never.  These food are broken into food groups.  When you look at this  as a quality of fuel.  It helps you understand it a little better.  The top of the pyramid is low grade foods.  The body burns these fuels much slower.  Leaving time for them to be stored as fat, even if you are an active person.  The middle part of the pyramid burns a little faster.  But will still store as fat if you are not active enough to burn it off.  The bottom or the base of the pyramid is the high grade food.  Our body's burn this fuel very quickly.  Giving no time for it to be stored as fat.  Keep in mind, that all food should be used the right way.  Not over eating any food group.  And grains should only be whole wheat.  Not any refined grains.  Our body's burn the whole grain better.  Giving less room for fat to store.
 
How to boost your slow fuel burn?
Now that we know how to fuel our body's.  How do we jump start our body's to burn that fuel the right way.  Since our body's have not been getting the right fuel all this time.  Your metabolism is slow.  You need to teach it how to burn the fuel the right way.  One of my big problems.  Over the years, with being so busy.  I have taught my body to burn slowly.  I got in a habit of eating once a day.  Mainly because that was the only time I had to eat.  Big Mistakes.  Our body's need a lot of fuel to keep going.  So eating once a day taught my body to store all food as fat.  Because it didn't know when it would get fuel again.  Threw my research on fueling my body the right way.  I found out that being a grazer is the best way to teach my body to burn the fuel I give it. 
 
What is Grazing?
Grazing is where you always giving your body fuel to burn.  "Yeah I thought the same thing.  You want me to eat more to lose fat.  I thought food was the problem."  Come to find out, it wasn't the food that was the problem.  Well, not the hole problem.  When you give your body everything it needs in order to burn the fuel.  You need to eat more of the high burning foods.  Let me explain it like this.
 
Each meal, (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) should have things from each food group.  This gives the body what it needs to burn the fuel.  Then between each meal.  You need to give your body extra fuel that is high grade to keep burning.  The higher grade foods are towards the bottom of the pyramid remember.  So have little popable  foods of high grade with you.  Like a berry's, nut's, veggies, low fat cheeses.  Little things you can pop into your mouth threw out the day.  And can also chew pretty quickly.  Since you will be at work threw part of your day.  Like a container of berry's should take you several hours to finish.  This keeps your body at full speed burning.  Witch means it will also burn away some of the fat you have stored.  Be mindful, this mean you can pop candy all day, our any low grade food and have the same results.  It must be high grade foods.  That body burns into fuel quickly.  After a few weeks your body will learn to be a fat burning machine.  You will notice the difference.
